Cattle Decapitation Debut “One Day Closer To The End Of The World”
Cattle Decapitation have unveiled the studio version of their new single titled “One Day Closer To The End Of The World“. The group previously performed the track live during their summer touring. It will appear on the band’s new album, “Death Atlas“, out November 29th on Metal Blade Records. Pre-orders for the record are available now at this location.
A number of guests were tapped for the record, including “Laure Le Prunenec of Iggorr, etc. fame on the title track, while Riccardo Conforti of Void Of Silence and Dis Pater of Midnight Odyssey also appear.
Phish‘s Jon Fishman does some narration on “The Unerasable Past“, while Ottone Pesante lent some horns to the included cover of Dead Can Dance‘s “In The Kingdom Of The Blind, The One-Eyed Are Kings“.
Vocalist Travis Ryan said in part of the album:
“I want people to be shocked into thinking more about their futures, their loved ones, the pain they’re potentially subjecting their future generations to. Everyone just seems to live in the now with no care for tomorrow and that’s incorrect thinking as far as today goes. Don’t make tomorrow a cancelled check.”
