STEEL PANTHER CLIP CELEBRATES TIGER WOODS’ MASTERS TOURNAMENT WIN

As pro golf legend Tiger Woods was dealing with the aftermath of the infidelity events that uprooted his life, Steel Panther wrote a song about it all on their 2012 album Balls Out. In the tune, they implored him to cover his tracks and “don’t think about those three foot putts.” But as the 2019 Masters Tournament drew to a close, a three foot putt was all that stood between Woods and his fifth Green Jacket. The Panther quickly uploaded a clip in celebration.

“The only thing that would’ve made this moment sweeter…” prefaced the band before congratulating the golfer on his tournament victory. The 60-second clip shows Woods lining up what’s practically a gimme putt and as the ball rolls gently toward the 18th hole, the music to “Tiger Woods” starts in all its melodic glory.
