In February, we got a glimpse into the new Child’s Play movie coming out this year with a minute-long teaser trailer, but we only saw the backside and the silhouette of the infamous Chucky. Now, we have a first look at the killer doll’s face, thanks to the movie’s official Twitter account, which states that a full trailer for the movie will arrive this Thursday (April 18). CHILD’S PLAY Official Trailer (2019)
The slasher reboot stars Aubrey Plaza and Gabriel Bateman, and was directed by Lars Klevberg. It has no ties to the storyline of the original franchise by Don Mancini. As of this past January, Syfy announced that a Chucky television series written by Mancini was in the works. Between the two works, it seems like Chucky is about to have a resurgence in popularity once again.
