Nirvana To Release Expanded 25th Anniversary Version Of “MTV Unplugged In New York”

Nirvana‘s “MTV Unplugged In New York” will be given a new 25th anniversary vinyl release on November 01st via Geffen. This new pressing of the album will arrive with a handful of bonus tracks captured during the rehearsal for the original album/show. Those bonus tracks include rehearsal versions of:

“Come As You Are”
“Polly”
“Plateau”
“Pennyroyal Tea”
“The Man Who Sold The World” (David Bowie cover)

Footage of the latter has been released below with audio of the track now available on streaming services as well. This version of the album will also arrive on digital formats and is available to pre-order now at this location.
