PALAYE ROYALE NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR ‘NERVOUS BREAKDOWN’
After leaking the tune’s title themselves last month, Palaye Royale have finally dropped “Nervous Breakdown,” the latest song and video from the rockers who released the gritty single’s successor, “Fucking With My Head,” just two weeks ago. While the band have yet to announce a new album, both songs are expected to be included on a forthcoming studio effort from the unabashed rock ‘n’ roll trio.
That said, the group’s next release could be related to an upcoming “Neoutopian Graphic Novel” that drummer Emerson Barrett created and designed with artist XOBillie. Watch the “Nervous Breakdown” music video down toward the bottom of this post.
The band has been working on new music recently, following up their similarly titled first two albums, Boom Boom Room (Side A) and Boom Boom Room (Side B). Prolifically, Palaye Royale reportedly had a surplus of material ready for their next album, and some of the tracks may have already been played live in concert.
“A lot of them might not make it, but at least we’re introducing a new style and aggression in our music that wasn’t [there] with Side A and Side B,” guitarist Sebastian Danzig said in a recent interview. “The fans have got a little insight into it, but also we’ve been hiding a lot, which has been nice. There’s probably over now 30 songs we’re up to on this record. So now it’s like deciding exactly which direction we want to take.”
Palaye Royale will be busy all summer long supporting Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson on the pair’s extended “Twins of Evil: Hell Never Dies” tour in North America. Shortly thereafter, they’ll cover ground in the U.K., Australia and Japan for a handful of their own show dates. See all the concert listings after the video.
