HELLYEAH Recruit Stone Sour Drummer Roy Mayorga For First Show Since Vinnie Paul’s Death
HELLYEAH have tapped Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga to fill-in during the band’s upcoming first show since Vinnie Paul‘s passing in June of 2018. That show will take place at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas, NV on May 11th and serve as a celebration of life for Paul.
Speaking via social media, HELLYEAH issued the below statement on the matter:
“Please welcome our dear friend and brother Roy Mayorga, who will be guesting behind the drum kit as we honor our brother Vinnie Paul.
These men had so much love and mutual respect for each other, this makes our transition so much easier. Ready or not, here we come!”
A new HELLYEAH album featuring Paul‘s final studio recordings is slated for a June 28th release.
