HEAR COREY TAYLOR TEAM WITH RAPPER KID BOOKIE ON REVAMPED “STUCK IN MY WAYS”

BELOW TRANSCRIPT VIA REVOLVER

We’ve heard Corey Taylor rap before — most notably on “Spit It Out,” the second single released off watershed 1999 self-titled album. Today fans get a more modern showcase of the dynamic vocalist’s range in the form of a collaborative hip-hop track with U.K. rapper Kid Bookie. The cut is a “revamped, heavier” version of “Stuck in My Ways,” a song that originally appeared on Bookie’s 2018 release Shake Up.

The musicians’ union on the project appears to have started off with a January tweet in which Kid Bookie hit up Taylor: “@CoreyTaylorRock I gotta work with you before both of us leave this earth,” he wrote, to which the Slipknot and Stone Sour singer responded, “Let’s talk my friend.”
