Slipknot’s “We Are Not Your Kind” hits #1
The kings of Heavy Metal are back at it with their THIRD #1 album. Slipknot’s “We Are Not Your Kind” has hit #1 on Billboards 200 Charts in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Ireland, Japan, UK, & USA! It also premiered in the Top 5 in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. This makes the band’s fifth album to hit the Top 10: .5: The Gray Chapter (No. 1, 2014), All Hope Is Gone (No. 1, 2008), Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) (No. 2, 2004) and Iowa (No. 3, 2001).
This pretty much proves that rock music is alive and well all over the world, and anyone who says otherwise can fuck off. Slipknot has been making music since 1995, and with a new addition to the band, Tortilla face, it doesn’t look like they are slowing down any time soon. The band is currently on tour, and has already announced tour dates for next year. Check out the band’s list of dates below, as well as their newest music video for “Solway Firth”.
