Last week, Maryland blues-doom preachers Clutch and L.A. stoner-rawk power duo Big Business took their idiosyncratic brands of heaviness to NYC’s Irving Plaza for a rip-roaring good time — the latter ahead of their forthcoming new album The Beast You Are, and the former in support of last year’s excellent Book of Bad Decisions. Photographer Mark Smitty Neal was there to capture all the action, from the quivering of Jared Warren’s ‘fro to the contagious dad swagger of Neil Fallon.
