DENZEL CURRY COVERS RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE’S “BULLS ON PARADE” AND ITS BRUTAL, HEAVY AND NASTY!
Rage Against the Machine’s 1996 furious anti-war protest anthem “Bulls on Parade” got a fresh makeover when rapper Denzel Curry recently hit the studio to reimagine the song with a live band. The explosive, stirring performance was recorded for Australia weekly radio segment “Live a Version,” on which musical guests cover classics from other acts. While sticking to the script throughout most of the song, Curry goes the fuck off about halfway through with his own expertly delivered, rapid-fire verse that attacks everything from Donald Trump to genocide and religion before busting back into the song’s iconic bridge. The stunningly talented performer — who released his third studio album, Ta13oo (pronounced “Taboo”) in 2018 — then flexes his wide range of vocal abilities and blazes through the rest of the track without so much as breaking a sweat. His backing band never misses a single note either, and the showing ends in jaw-dropping perfection as Curry sets down the mic and exits the scene. Watch above and good luck not completely losing your mind like the people in the fan-reaction video below.
